About Us

COME IF YOU DARE!

The Haunted Forest of Statesboro is a local tradition, providing frights and thrills since 1980. First started by Professor "Mouse" Blankenbaker as a class project, the Haunted Forest has grown to be one of the largest charity-driven, volunteer-operated haunted attractions in Southeast Georgia. The Haunted Forest is the top fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club of Bulloch County

Once the weather begins to cool, the Haunted Forest ushers in the fall season, enjoyed by the young and young at heart. Being able to come together as a community, supporting a worthy cause, all while having a terrifyingly good time – this is why the Haunted Forest of Statesboro has endured the test of time.

To accommodate the record crowds from last year, the Haunted Forest will once again be located at the Kiwanis Ogeechee Fairgrounds in 2023.
